Dr Shivam Gupta, who has done long-term glaucoma fellowship from Aravind Eye Hospital, Tamil Nadu, after which he continued as a consultant in the Glaucoma department at Aravind Eye Hospital.
His clinical acumen speaks volumes about his strong foundation, which is evident in his work. He is very meticulous in his clinical examination and diagnosis and treats patients safely, accurately and with great compassion, commitment and care.
He has vast Glaucoma experience in therapeutic procedures like laser iridotomy, laser suture lysis, Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty, Micropulse laser, diode laser cyclophotocoagulation and in surgical procedures like Trabeculectomy, combined Trabeculectomy and cataract surgery, various Minimally Invasive Glaucoma surgery, Glaucoma Drainage Devices implantation surgery and trabeculotomy with trabeculectomy for congenital and juvenile glaucoma patients. He has excellent experience in manual small incision cataract and minimally invasive cataract surgeries.
He also actively participated in multiple research works and has more than 20 articles published in national and international journals. He has attended many national and international conferences as a speaker. He has a keen interest in Innovation and has participated in many hackathons and also developed ophthalmic products.
