Dr. Mrinal Modhur completed his primary medical education and internship at Guwahati Medical College, Assam in 2002-03. He did his Post Graduation in Ophthalmology at Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Guwahati. He has to his credit two fellowships: General Ophthalmology Fellowship (2008-09) from Sri Sankar Deva Netralaya, Guwahati and Paediatric Ophthalmology (Apr-Jun, 2013) from Sankara Eye Hospital, Bengaluru. He joined the Nirmal Ashram Eye Institute, Rishikesh as Consultant in 2010. He has presented numerous Posters, Papers and videos and delivered talks at various state / national Ophthalmology forums. His clinical areas of interest are Cataract and other Anterior Segment Diseases, Phacoemulsification with premium IOLs, complicated cataract surgeries and paediatric cataract.
